Sue - just want to take the chance to thank you for all your hard work - cannot imagine you could improve the site any more than it is now! Don't worry too much about the grammar - as Mr Chesterfield would say "if in doubt - leave out!" Hello to all - will be catching up on all the Sandwich gossip as I have my Mother Zoe Newman, Sister Lesley, Brother Chris, Niece Kate and Nephew Michael all coming out in a couple of weeks time, will pass on any interesting tit bits I might hear about...... Apologies to the teacher about my grammar - it's an extremely long time since I was at school and I have a great deal to type! The Open Sandwich Web site will be relaunched shortly with a new design - hopefully improved (it's been around for 5 years and I thought it really needed an upgrade) - same content with some extras - I will try to correct the typos too! Regards Sue F.

In your excellent web-site, throughout, please edit copy by eliminating apostrophes in possessive "its"; for example: "Deal has its own castle..." (not "it's") "Tenterden...has its own port..." ...and so on. Sorry to be pedantic, but it confuses school pupils. Thanks, however, for excellent information on the Cinque Ports. Dear Linda You certainly have a sting in your tail, you only have to look back a few messages to see where the reference came from........ Linda succumbed by suggesting a scooter as alternative transport,no room for anyone else,by reading that I gathered the appointment was on,no big deal. Now that i have been well and truly told off, thanks guys for the fun over the last week and thanks to Open Sandwich for the use of your guestbook as a chat line. And Linda, see you in 2 months,i'll bring my family too and a mini bus to get around in. Love Trevor XX

| Ouch!! I think I'll leave you to field this one by yourself, Trev! (backs away nervously and returns to the "Archers" and other similar comforts.)

| Succumbed!!!! I don't think so Trevor. I make decisions, I don't succumb! My decision at this time is to live in the present not the past but then this is all tongue-in-cheek, isn't it?
