| My dear mother Barbara Amy Chalice nee STRONG (deceased Nov. 2001) was born (8.8.31) and brought up in Sandwich. Because of her we all hold fond memories of Sandwich. Her brother Bern still lives in Sandwich, together with his wife June. My mother lived at 13 Fisher St and was married to John Chalice in St. Clements Church. A lovely church which I will visit one day with my two daughters.

| Finding this website has brought back so many wonderful memories of my two visits to Sandwich. My husbands family came from that area and he still has a brother and sister living in Sandwich. Although he is gone for 9 years now my thoughts often go back to when he took me home to see his beautiful land. Those two visits are among the most precious of my many years with him. I loved the walks around town and the cools refreshments at the Crispin and the Red Cow. Some day I hope to get there again.

| My GGGGG Grandfather, Thomas Bonney boarded the Great Ship Hercules from Sandwich in 1634 to New England. I am wondering if anyone there (currently in Sandwich) may know more about him and/or our family. It would be great to find out more about the Bonney family from Sandwich, England. Please write.

My ancestors lived in Paradise Row Sandwich in 1881. The family name was BURLEY. Are there any BURLEYS still in Sandwich?
