Open Sandwich: Information, Copyright, Acknowledgements, Terms & Conditions

Open Sandwich is an unsponsored, voluntary, and independent web site, and is not affiliated with any other organisation except Open Sandwich Website Design

Web Site Information:

This web site (www.open-sandwich.co.uk) has used the name Open Sandwich since 1998, any other web sites or organisations using this name as a title, in their meta tags, or included in their domain name (other than Open Sandwich Web Design ) has no relationship whatsoever with this web site.
Please read the About Us page for more information.

Note: The Open Sandwich Web site has been in existence long before the 2003 Open Golf came to town and the name is purely coincidental - although there is information about the golf - this web site is primarily about Sandwich and its History.

Spelling & Language Conventions :

British English is used throughout the web site, but translation into other languages is something to be considered for the future.

Some American visitors have queried the spelling and use of English - this is slightly different in British English: e.g. colour, favourite, ...ise instead of ... ize, as in 'realise' (but both are acceptable), 'enquire' not 'inquire'.

A Queen or King may be written as Elizabeth I, Richard III, but also Elizabeth the First and Richard the Third are commonly used.

Having said that, apologies for any typos!!
